Return Policy

Order Changes & Cancellations

There is a 24-hour window after placing your order for changes or cancellation. After 24 hours, cancellations can be handled as either one-time-use 100% store credit plus shipping or 50% refund plus shipping. Store credit is not redeemable for cash.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your glasses to contact us and request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your glasses should be clean, undamaged, and returned with any case, cleaning cloth, accessories, or original packaging that are still available. Trying the glasses on for fit or vision does not by itself make them ineligible for return.

If you are unsatisfied with your prescription glasses, or if incorrect order information was entered during checkout, eligible orders can be returned for a 50% refund or a one-time-use 100% Eyeshells store credit. Store credit can be used once toward a new order, is not redeemable for cash, and cannot be refunded back to the original payment method.

Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our production error, a defective item, or an item that was damaged upon arrival.

You will need an RA # (Return Authorization) before sending any return back to us. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If the issue was caused by our production error, a defective product, or shipping damage, we will review the case and help with an appropriate solution, such as a repair, remake, replacement, store credit, or refund depending on the situation.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Buffalo horn frames cannot be returned, as they are custom products, unless they arrive damaged or have other quality issues. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to place a new order after your return request has been accepted or after store credit has been issued.

For prescription glasses, we usually issue store credit instead of processing a direct exchange, since a new frame, lens type, prescription, PD, or other customization details may need to be selected again.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Store credit is issued directly to your Eyeshells account or provided as a store credit code. Store credit is one-time use only and should be used toward a new order. Any unused balance after the store credit is applied may not be refundable or redeemable for cash.
